CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, Year 12 (1923). Small Characters variety. A boldly struck, RARE, and highly sought after pattern issue with flashy, almost prooflike fields and a faint almond tone that is stronger on the peripheries. There is one light bag mark on the hat below the peacock and some die polish lines on the reverse. Quite difficult in this elite state of preservation.
