Brewing loose-leaf tea often comes with small daily hassles. Traditional methods require extra accessories like separate infusers, strainers, or disposable tea bags. Leaving tea leaves submerged for too long can also cause the drink to over-steep and turn bitter.

A clever new teacup design solves this problem by combining the brewing vessel and the strainer into a single item. The cup features a dual-chamber interior divided by an integrated barrier. Loose tea leaves sit on one side, while hot water fills the rest of the cup.

To control the strength of the brew, the vessel uses a angled base mechanism. Tilting the cup in one direction keeps the tea leaves fully submerged in water to steep. When the desired strength is reached, simply tilting the cup to the other position separates the liquid from the leaves, instantly stopping the steeping process without needing to remove the tea leaves.

By replacing multiple tools with a simple tilt, this functional design makes preparing fresh loose-leaf tea cleaner, faster, and far more effortless.
